My breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Oh yes, I’m juicing today! Just for one day though! I’m doing Organic Avenue’s Love Deep Cleanse, and on the menu I have a chlorophyll shot, watermelon juice (yum!), cucumber juice (eh), tumeric tonic (not too sure how I feel about this one), carrot juice (carrots make me gag… this should be interesting), green coco juice (whatever that means), and cashew hemp mylk (…).

Every month of so I like to do a one day juice cleanse, and I always wake up the next morning feeling energetic and “cleaner” inside, if that makes sense. I’ve tried a two day cleanse before but by the end of the second day I had such severe cravings I went home and baked myself a batch of brownies – FAIL (and that’s an understatement). So for now I’m sticking to my one days…

So far today I’ve done pilates and gone through two of my juices. So far, so good! Happy Thursday!

Hi everyone!

So I know I’ve been totally MIA but now.. I’M BAAACCKKKK (or so I’m going to try to be!). Let’s just say “life” happened, with the biggest news being that I’M ENGAGED! My amazing now-fiancé proposed to me back in April and it’s been a whirlwind ever since. We had our engagement party not too long ago (I’ll definitely post up pictures of the party soon) and a lot went into planning, and now it’s onto planning the wedding. Apart from wedding planning I’ve been on a serious fitness kick. “Kick” may not actually be the correct word – I’m making a concerted effort to be healthy by eating right and working out regularly as part of my daily routine. I’ve already seen changes in my body, and while it’s not quite where I want it to be just yet I know I’m on the right track and I’m feeling more energetic and better about myself in general! I’ll be sure to share what I’ve been trying out later so stay tuned. For the time being here is life through my iPhone lens:

The RItz Paris is set to close for renovations, but just before it does the hotel opened its doors to Vogue for a photo shoot with Kate Moss decked out in haute couture – stunning. Set against the backdrop of  high ceilings, silk drapes, gold trimming, and patterned wallpaper, the photo shoot just oozes glitz, glamor and elegance. Oh, the lifestyle of the rich and famous! If only those walls could talk…

So badass – I love it. Love the braids, and the statement watches. Coincidentally, I just went to a boxing class today that had me paralyzed on my couch for the remainder of the day – such a good workout!
